Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
Dementia refers to a condition of the brain that impacts communication ability and daily tasks and activities.
Alzheimer’s is a common type of Dementia, present or related in 50-70 percent of all Dementia cases reported.
The areas of the brain that impact thought, language and memory are primarily affected by Alzheimer’s.
Our care attendants are professionally trained to manage the challenges of caring for dementia patients.
Our health care attendants have an understanding of the many ways dementia can present and the potential variations in individuals, as well as how to adjust their care for their clients needs.
Our dementia home care planned services are always reviewed to ensure that their medical needs are fully met as the dementia progresses.
We know that accommodating a family member with Alzheimer’s can be especially emotional for family members, due to their changing behaviours.
Short Term Care
You may only need respite care & support for a limited amount of time, while your full-time family caregiver is away on holiday.
Conversely, you may need a caregiver to serve as a support for your family while a loved one is later in their life.
